Celebration Dinner at the Trust
On Thursday 20th March 2008, PRRT hosted a dinner to celebrate recent achievements. Guest of honour was Sir Ronnie Flanagan (HMI Constabulary), who commended Sandra Herdman, Head of the Careers Guidance and Personal Development Service, PRRT, on her department's recent success. The Trust is only one of 12 national organisations to have been awarded the 'matrix' excellence award in recognition of its achievement in meeting and exceeding the required standard in the delivery of information, advice and guidance to its adult clients.
Mr Ivan Topping, University of Ulster, presented a certificate of re-validation for the PRRT Diploma in Social Sciences to Glenda Martin, Head of Training and Education, PRRT. This validation ensures that the University of Ulster accredits the PRRT Diploma Course for the next five years.
The Trust also wished to acknowledge commencement of Phase II of the Full Time Reserve contract. PRRT provides a bespoke outplacement and training and development programme for FTR officers as part of the PSNI Severance Scheme. The award was presented to Jim Evans, Project Manager, in recognition of the excellent evaluation of the service from participants in Phase I of the programme.
