Training Assessor Service at PRRT
WHAT is the Service?
The Training Assessor Service was introduced to assist those who have decided which alternative career or active retirement route they wish to follow. This means clients will meet with the Training Assessor who will discuss and agree an appropriate training solution to support their career goal.
“I had a personal plan to attain a (Hons) degree but without the guidance and financial support from PRRT this goal could never have become reality. Thanks! Now on my Masters!”
WHY should you use the service?
If you have a clear idea of your career goals post policing you can meet with the Training Assessor who will discuss and advise on appropriate training courses. Discretionary grant funding for external training courses which may support your future career or active retirement choices may be discussed and applied for during this appointment. Enrolment on PRRT internal courses can also be completed at this time.
“The Training Assessor service helped to provide access to funding to assist me with my long term academic ambitions. They also helped me consider and access another course, which I had not previously considered. This has already proved fruitful in opening up opportunities.”
